Arc Assistant is designed to operate with minimal data collection. We do not require user accounts to use Arc.

Arc runs only when you explicitly trigger it. It does not passively scan or collect information from web pages.

This policy explains the limited information that may be processed and under what circumstances.

We intentionally minimize data collection.

• No Account Information: Arc does not require account registration. We do not collect names, passwords, or user profiles for the core product.
• User-Triggered Content: Arc processes only the content you explicitly select or choose to send when using the assistant. We do not automatically collect page content.
• Website Analytics: Our website may use basic analytics tools to understand general usage patterns (such as page visits). These tools do not provide us with the content you process inside Arc.
• Support Communications: If you contact us directly (for example via email), we will receive the information you provide in that communication.

Arc processes content only when you explicitly initiate an action (such as summarizing or rewriting selected text).

Processing may occur locally in your browser or may involve a configured model endpoint, depending on your setup.

We do not use your inputs to train AI models.

We do not build behavioral profiles based on your activity.

We do not sell personal data.

We do not share user content with advertisers.

• Model Providers: If Arc is configured to use a third-party model provider, selected content may be sent to that provider solely for the purpose of generating a response. We encourage users to review the privacy policies of any configured provider.
• Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or valid legal process.

We do not maintain centralized chat histories for Arc.

We do not retain selected content processed by Arc unless you explicitly store or export it yourself.

Support emails are retained only as long as necessary to address the inquiry.

We design Arc to minimize centralized data storage.

While we implement reasonable technical safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.

Users are responsible for ensuring that any third-party model providers they configure meet their security and compliance requirements.

We design our practices with reference to Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

Arc Assistant is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
